CESS: The Decentralization Storage Innovator of the Web3 Era
CESS: Innovative Decentralization Storage Network
With the arrival of the Web3 era, decentralized storage networks have gradually become the focus of attention. However, traditional decentralized storage technologies may face performance and speed bottlenecks in dApps applications. To address this challenge, CESS has emerged.
CESS, as a physical infrastructure network, consists of three functional layers: the public chain layer, the storage layer, and the content distribution layer ( DCDN ). The public chain layer is developed based on Substrate and integrates the EVM Pallet module, providing data layer support for dApps. The storage layer is responsible for storing file content, utilizing technologies such as encryption, sharding, and redundancy for preprocessing. The DCDN layer is planned for release in 2025 with the aim of improving user access speed and reducing transaction costs through CDN technology.
The decentralized characteristics of the CESS network are reflected in its node network and consensus mechanism. The node network includes consensus nodes, storage nodes, cache nodes, and retrieval nodes, which collectively participate in the operation and maintenance of the network. In terms of consensus algorithms, CESS adopts an innovative reputation rotation consensus mechanism (R²S). Additionally, CESS utilizes technologies such as multi-replica recoverable storage proof (PoDR²), idle space proof (PoIS), and proxy re-encryption technology (PReT) to ensure the security and efficiency of the network.
The CESS ecosystem currently includes multiple products, such as Deshare for individual users, the decentralized file sharing platform Decloud, and the enterprise-level storage solution DeOSS. These products provide users with a diverse range of decentralized storage and file sharing services.
Compared to other decentralized storage networks, CESS has the following advantages:
The CESS project is led by a team of experienced entrepreneurs and technical experts, adopting a sound development strategy. This network is developed based on Substrate and is also compatible with EVM, providing good ecosystem compatibility for developers and users.
As a comprehensive Web3 infrastructure, CESS not only provides decentralized storage but also plans to integrate public chain and content distribution functions, laying the foundation for the vigorous development of future Web3 applications. Although CESS has not yet issued tokens, its ecosystem has already taken shape, attracting a large number of users and storage miners to participate.
