Fed's Daly: The number of rate cuts this year may exceed two.
According to Hash World News, Fed's Daly stated that with the current weak job market and signs of tariff inflation fading, the timing for interest rate cuts is approaching. She believes it is not yet determined whether there will be a rate cut in September, but plans to consider policy adjustments at each subsequent meeting. More than two rate cuts within the year remain a possible option.
