Ethereum exit queue continues to decline, new staking boosts on board demand
On August 5, according to data from the data platform, the current number of Ethereum PoS network exit queue is reported to be 488,686, worth approximately 1.785 billion USD. The number of ETH in the exit queue has decreased for three consecutive days, with an exit waiting time of about 8 days and 12 hours.
Meanwhile, there are approximately 125,718 ETH waiting in line to join the network, worth about $459 million, with an expected activation delay of about 2 days and 4 hours.
This situation reflects the existence of two opposing forces in the market: on one hand, some stakers may choose to lock in profits after Ethereum rebounded over 160% since the low point in April, resulting in a surge of exits from the queue; on the other hand, new capital inflows driven by regulatory benefits and institutional demand are also pushing up the entrance queue, as publicly traded companies like SharpLink Gaming and BitMine Immersion increase their holdings of ETH and participate in staking.
